Welcome to Tone Tubes
Tone Tubes is a small online business that imports and sells vacuum tubes or valves, and other related components to the South African market. We are located in Jeffreys Bay, near Port Elizabeth, but are strictly an online operation with no physical store. Originating from a passion for music, guitars and amps, as well as a background in audio electronics, we have decided to provide a much needed service to the local music community in support of your search for great tone. Tone Tubes is intended to provide local Musos, DIY Hobbyists, HiFi enthusiasts and the Music Trade access to in-demand, but often difficult to find components for your tube amplifier and other equipment.
We have prioritised the stocking of commonly needed, major brand tubes and related components. Should you be looking for something we do not carry in stock, then do not hesitate to contact us - we will gladly bring in special orders if we are able to access the parts needed. All of our tubes are fully tested prior to shipment to ensure the best quality. In addition to tubes, we also stock other amplifier and selected stompbox components such as enclosures, jacks, sockets and switches. We also stock guitar electronics such as pots, vintage wire, tone capacitors and pickup selector switches. We do not supply pickups or other guitar hardware.
We also undertake servicing and repairs of tube amps, so if you are in the area and your amp needs some TLC then let us know and we will gladly assist.
