The JJ 5Y3S is a modern replacement for all 5Y3 octal base rectifier tube applications. The tube is rated for a maximum smoothing capacitance of 20uF. It is equipped with a 5v direct heater. It is suitable for many hi-fi and guitar tube amplifiers that utilise a tube rectifier. It provides robust and dynamic performance.
