The Mullard GZ34/5AR4 rectifier tube is a copy of the most popular rectifier tube ever produced by Mullard. It has a controlled heater warm-up time, and low full load internal voltage drop of only 10V, which helps to extend the life of the amplifier power tubes by allowing them to heat up before applying the high plate voltage. The Mullard GZ34/5AR4 is a modern replacement for all GZ34/5AR4 octal base dual rectifier applications in many hi-fi and guitar tube amplifiers.
